Edneyville Community Plan History

February 20, 2008

The Board of Commissioners, at its February 20, 2008 meeting approved the Charter for the Edneyville Community Plan and began accepting applications for the Edneyville Community Advisory Committee. Interested citizens were able to submit applications to the Deputy Clerk to the Board of Commissioners on or before April 7, 2008.

April 7, 2008

The Board of Commissioners, at its April 7, 2008 meeting, nominated and appointed the members of the Edneyville Communities Advisory Committee.

April 21, 2008

The Henderson County Planning Department posts an online survey, to be available through July 1, 2008 for Ednevyille Community citizens to provide public input.

May 20 , 2008

The Henderson County Planning Department and Edneyville Community Plan Advisory Committee held a Public Input Meeting, Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Edneyville Elementary School cafeteria. (See Public Input Meeting Flyer)

Twenty-six (26) Edneyville residents attended the meeting and were divided into 3 facilitated groups. Each group responded to a series of three questions. Of those in attendance, 22 voted on the recorded responses of the groups. A total of 65 votes were tallied. (See Responses which Received Votes or see All Responses Recorded).
